I’m Floris Vroegh, a film student and colorist based in the Netherlands.

I started grading at film school and pretty quickly got into the habit of grading shots before I’d even started the edit. Just to see if I could get them looking cinematic. I was supposed to be editing, but I’d still be trying out looks.

That’s still how a lot of my projects start. Finding a look gets me excited to work on the rest of the film. Outside school, I spend most of my time grading or getting further into color science.
